Reireiki's debut design, also known as "ReiMX". At the time she was just MX in a dress and a blatant trace of Reimu's IN battle sprite.

The only remain of her first official spritesheet, back when I didn't know how to draw. It laid the foundation for her design but makes me wanna cry.

At this point in time Reireiki was a menreiki possessing Reimu to try and get revenge on Marisa over her "Borrowing" habits. Had trouble making this into a full story and would scrap later on.

The definitive Reireiki design for most of 2024. Discovered it whilst trying to imitate ZUN's style and had a field day.

This very sprite would be the reason I chose to start making the game, as I finally felt I had the art skills to do it.

Would attempt to redraw it later on as some outline parts were traced, and would end up developing the style further.

(Note: This appearance had a "faker" form that appears in the old build of the game. Her name is The Paradisal.)

Squishy's first take on the character. Uses Reimu's TH19 appearance instead of 08. The mask design would be the main inspiration for my own.

A full body appearance long overdue. At the time, Reireiki still kept her general story. It was made specifically for the GameJolt page.

Squishy's second take on the character. Switches her main outfit to a kimono. It would end up being my main inspiration for the final redesign.

By now, Reireiki was no longer Reimu, and needed a new appearance to match. I pulled design concepts from Squishy's take and The Paradisal to birth it.

From there, the Fakemaiden was born. The daughter of the fog now had form.
